Shay Bailey is an award-winning beauty and consumer tech professional with nearly two decades of experience in corporate retail sales, operations, and brand development. With a strong background in retail strategy, Shay has successfully led multimillion-dollar sales environments and built lasting partnerships with leading retailers.

Shay’s career began with LaChae Cosmetics before she joined M.A.C Cosmetics, where she spent 13+ years in retail leadership, overseeing 20+ retail locations across Michigan and Ohio. As a Manager of Retail Sales & Operations, she spearheaded training programs, optimized sales strategies, and enhanced customer engagement across department stores and freestanding locations.

In 2019, Shay launched Shay B. Beautiful LLC, a beauty and brand development consultancy, and later developed MyBeautyKit, an innovative beauty tech platform that won first place at Tech Town Detroit's Start-Up Tech Showcase. Through her consultancy and tech ventures, Today, alongside managing operations for MyBeautyKit, Inc, through her agency partnerships, Shay empowers professionals, entrepreneurs, and communities through a full suite of services designed to elevate image, business, and impact.

Shay’s expertise has earned her features in publications like Sheen, Beauty Independent, and Upscale Magazines, as well as guest beauty correspondent roles on WDIV Local 4 Detroit and CBS News. She is a Board Member at Oakland University’s College of Arts & Sciences and was recently awarded the 2025 ‘Top 10 Women in Business for Innovation’ by the National Association for Women in Business (NAWBO) Greater Detroit Chapter.
